When you make the claim "America's Finest!" you had best be ready to back it up! Royal Fiberglass Pools, Inc. does by setting the standard in the manufacturing of one-piece pools and spas.
Each pool is individually hand crafted by composites technician under supervised strict quality control standards.

The construction of the pool shell consists of two sections:
1) The White Gelcoat or Colour Coate Surface Layer
The top coat, or gel coat layer, offers a beautiful surface that is both durable and easy to maintain in either our Colour Coate Series or White Pools alike. A layer of vinyl ester resin and chopped strand mat provide impact and blister resistance between the surface and lamination schedule. For added strength, Royal Fiberglass Pools Inc., utilizes Isothalic resin stored and delivered from our Royal Tank System to encapsulate more glass during our "hand laid process" than any other manufacturer of fiberglass pools. This unique process was developed by Royal Fiberglass Pools, Inc. and is the result of ongoing research and testing of new products used in the manufacturing of ROYAL pools and spas.
2) The Lamination Structure, the support and strength structure of the pool.
Every Royal Fiberglass Pool is constructed using eight layers of high quality fiberglass strand matting and woven roven to assure the utmost durability. Each layer is strategically cut depending on model, placed and wetted with resin. Technicians then hand roll the layers of the mat and roven to flatten it and get entrapped air from behind. Termed "Hand Laid" process. A combination of this technique and our extra wide coping beam make our pools the strongest in the business. In boats, this "hand laid" process is usually found on offshore and racing hulls designed to take the tough conditions of rough water at high speeds.
Of course this process would not be possible without a good mold. For each model that we offer we have a mold. Royal Fiberglass Pools builds and maintains our molds in house. Product quality is dependent on the quality of the mold therefore, it is necessary to build them tough with steel reinforcement, make them easy to move around and take very good care of them.
