Royal Fiberglass Pools, Inc. is a 30 year old family owned and operated business based in south central Louisiana (Cajun Country) and a secondary plant operation located in southern IL.  Both facilities are climate controlled, capable of year round production as a result of our patented Royal Tank System and Advanced Air Quality System. God, family and pride in a job well done are part of everyday life at both our Royal facilities.

Cliff Hebert, affectionately known as "Mr. Cliff", started the company in 1982 after years of installing gunite, vinyl liner and fiberglass swimming pools made by other manufacturers.

Convinced fiberglass pools were superior to all other vessels of water he built, he and his four sons (Tony, Chris, Rusty & Jude) set out on a mission to produce the finest fiberglass pool in America.  He also wanted to create a family type dealer base founded on a high quality of service and support and focus being on the quality of the installation. With this the company would form the foundation to stay manageably small but constantly improving from the contributions of not only his family but his dealer base.

Mr. Cliff and his sons are always looking to improve the product and the process for producing and installing the product.  Mr. Cliff was the first to introduce Vinyl Ester resin in the manufacture of one piece fiberglass pools.  This material currently is used by most manufacturers of boats and pools as a water barrier to help with blistering or de-lamination that plagued fiberglass pools during the early years of introduction and development and has virtually been eliminated.

Today, Tony Hebert, General Manager who runs the company's day to day operations, strives to maintain the standards set by his father. He encourages and oversees continuous improvements in the manufacturing process of Royal Fiberglass Pools and Spas. Tony is responsible for research and development to assure that Royal Fiberglass Pools is always producing the best pools and spas that Americans want for their recreation. His knowledge and mechanical abilities allow Royal many "in house" operations such as plug and mold construction, transportation and handling equipment. He also oversees applications such as "rooftop", "on ground" and specialty containers.

As a result of his commitment to building a better product Tony invented and patented the Royal Tank System. His contributions to the swimming pool industry and composites industry respectfully shows his dedication and commitment to the family tradition.

The other three brothers are the foundation of Royal's national dealer network. All are experienced in the installation, service and repair of fiberglass pools and spas and contribute to the training program for dealers; each possesses a unique skill or talent that strengthens the company.  In addition, as independent contractors, the three provide invaluable input into product manufacturing and installation.
